The Sunday Blahs?

Ah the weekend.  My favorite time of the week, unless I have a week of vacation of course. I wish it would just last a bit longer, even just a smidge.

Yesterday we attended a huge family BBQ potluck, and we had a blast.  It was so good to see everyone under happy circumstances rather than unhappy ones (ie-two family deaths in 50 days).  Everyone ate and some drank and we all laughed, told stories, took snapshots of what will be called memories.  It was an all ’round good time. 

I was hoping to get to the beach today, but of course it’s cloudy.  Okay, technically it’s overcast but still amounts to the same thing: hardly nice to go to the beach.  Maybe thrift shopping? Yard saling? Or maybe just a drive? Je ne sais pas. We’ll see where the day takes us.

If all else fails, we have two movie rentals we haven’t watched yet.  Martian Child (my pick) and Hostel (J’s pick).

    It’s a lovely new design! I like it. How was Martian Child? I was interested in seeing it when it first came out, mainly because, hello, John Cusack! I never had a chance to see it, but I haven’t had an excuse to go to the local Video Difference to pick it up. Is it worth it?

    JB- I haven’t had the chance yet to watch it. We ended up going to the beach, then coming home and watching Hostel (booooo!). I’ll let you know how Martian Child was though ;)
